You may know me as a creative life coach, but did you know that my creativity is nourished by my own art making? I work with mixed media: acrylic, pencil, charcoal, fabric, geli prints, special papers, metal and found objects. Each piece is unique and comes from deep exploration at a soul level. All the pieces I sell are originals. I have learned to honor and respect the images and colors that call to me. My study with Michelle Cassou (Founder of Process Painting) has enhanced my self taught approach over many decades. Much of my work has been influenced by the energy, land and people of Taos, New Mexico. I’d refer to myself as an abstract artist with a leaning toward primitive contemporary style.

What do we do when words no longer help us reason our way through something? This piece is witness to the power of creativity when words fail us. I was in a coaching conversation when it became clear that we needed to shift modality from words to paint. I shifted my webcam to the studio, put up a piece of paper and asked the client to choose a few of her favorite colors. And I began painting with them. It was a moment of breakthrough for both of us.
